Aktion Club Leader Opening

The Arc of Moore County is seeking a creative, energetic and community-minded leader for its Aktion Club, a service club for adults with developmental disabilities. Aktion Club is a Sponsored Leadership Program (SLP) of Kiwanis International and is sponsored locally by the Kiwanis Club of the Sandhills and Seven Lakes Kiwanis. Duties will entail coordinating monthly meetings for the group and participating in various community service projects outside of the regular meetings. The club’s leader will work with Kiwanis sponsors and other Kiwanis SLPs, to include high school Key Clubs and Sandhills Community College’s Circle K to achieve Aktion Club goals of giving back to the community.
